We’ll show you what the possibilities are. Please note that the photo must be of excellent quality. And most photos taken with a smartphone do not meet these requirements. Investing in a decent camera is therefore recommended.

Getting rich by selling your photos on stock websites isn’t going to happen. However, it is an opportunity to earn a few pennies. You put your own photos on here which can then be downloaded by companies that need them. Companies will pay for this photo, which will make you earn something. Unfortunately, the amounts for these photos are very low. Sometimes you only get 10 cents a photo. So if you want to make a lot of money from this, you will also have to upload a lot of holiday photos. The advantage is that once the picture is on it, it will last forever. Some well-known websites where you can sell stock photos are Shutterstock, iStock, Abobe Stock and Getty Images.

Maybe his photo contests aren’t the best way to make cash with your holiday photos right away. But you can win some nice prizes with it. Online you can find a lot of photo competitions. Did you get a special photo? Then you can participate in various photo contests with which you can win a prize or voucher. In some cases the price is cash money, but this is very rare and often only reserved for professionals. Be careful because some matches have to pay registration fees! You can also sell your photos online apart from stock photo websites, but with websites like Workdemuur. Here you can have pictures printed on canvas. The advantage? Your profit margin is much larger than in stock photos. And the creation and shipping process is controlled by the website itself. So you just need to upload your photo and maybe promote it a little bit. The nice thing about this website is that you can set your own profit margin. This way of working is certainly possible if you have beautiful pictures in high resolution!

Instagram

If you create an Instagram account with your best photos, you may get a lot of followers. Although the pictures must also be of excellent quality! When these followers are there, companies will contact you to either promote their business or to take photos of the company. This can be an ordinary business but also a tourist service. Granted, this way of making money from your holiday photos is not easy and rather exceptional. But if you don’t venture, you don’t win!

Organise an exhibition

Are your photos of a very high quality and do you already have some fans of your work? Then you can always organize an exhibition. For this you ask for an entry fee or you make the entry free but you sell photos on site. You can do this big but then you’re going to have a bigger cost or you can do it smaller. Coming out of the corner is recommended here! But again, if you want to use this revenue model, you’re going to have to have a very high quality of photos. Then you are already professionally engaged in photography.
