How to choose a good pitch on the campsite
Here are 4 tips you should always keep in mind when choosing a good pitch on the campsite. Have fun!
Choose the place with the most shade. If you arrive in the morning, try to find out how the sun will stand at the hottest time of the day. At the moment you don’t want your caravan/car/mobilhome or tent in the sun. A place surrounded by many trees, is always a good idea.
Choose a place on a mountain (je) or on a flat piece. Never choose a place in a valley or well, even if it hardly stands out that it is a well. If it rains, water will always flow towards your vehicle when you are standing in a valley. So don’t do this! We had not done this the first time with all the consequences that entails.
Do you like children? Do you like ambiance? Or do you prefer peace and quiet? That’s definitely important when you choose your pitch. Children or young people who like to go out can disturb the rest that is important to you. So take a look around before you choose your seat.
Choose a place where you feel good. After all, you have to have a holiday feeling. Choose a place where you have a view of greenery and not others’ vehicle, on the street or on a building. It may not bother you right away, but after a few days you’ll be tired of it and will even get annoyed by it.
