1. Chaka Khan
Chaka Khan is such an a-typical bar in Raval where you drink unique cocktails and get surprising food served from different parts of the world. Worth a visit when you’re in Barcelona!
Carrer de l’Hospital, 104, 08001 Barcelona
SandwiChez is a cosy, modern breakfast and lunch café chain. You can come here for breakfast with freshly squeezed fruit juice and croissants, but equally good for a healthy lunch. Everything is delicious and easy to take with you!
Different addresses all over Barcelona.
3. Foxy Bar
Foxy Bar is a cosy pub with vintage elements. You will find the best (regional) beers and giant sangrias for little money. You immediately feel the homely atmosphere and you can spend hours there.
Carrer de la Riera Alta, 59, 08001 Barcelona, Spain
Ocaña is a beautiful restaurant on the beautiful Plaça Reial. It is one ofbarcelona’s favourite places. It is both a restaurant and bar as well as event location. The restaurant is modern decorated with special and colorful art. The food certainly equals the interior. You can eat tasty tapas and drink exceptionally good homemade lemonade and cocktails. A hit!
Plaça Reial, 13-15, 08002 Barcelona, Spain
5. Villa Emilia
Hotel Villa Emilia has its own bar, called Zinc Bar. That’s where you need to be! You can drink delicious wines and even better desserts. It is a class shop that is stylishly decorated. The staff there is very very friendly.
Carrer de Calàbria, 115, 08015 Barcelona, Spain
6. La Donutería
La Donutería is a bakery where you can buy fresh and special doughnuts. There are striking flavours such as pistachio, banana or grapefruit and their menu changes every day. We tried the doughnut with raspberry and it was really delicious! Please note that you don’t buy too many (even though they all look great!), because the doughnuts are not as you are used to. They are quite heavy on your stomach and with one or two pieces you have really eaten enough.
Carrer del Parlament, 20, 08015 Barcelona, Spain
7. Les Gens Que J’aime
Les Gens Que J’aime is perhaps the most special bar on this list. It is a unique bar inspired by burlesque and cabaret where there is a relaxed atmosphere. You feel like you’re going back in time. Outside of the beautiful décor, you can drink delicious cocktails. You might have to look for this spot – you get there through a small door that doesn’t stand out between the big buildings- but it’s highly recommended!
Carrer de València, 286, 08007 Barcelona, Spain
