TripIt: The app that keeps track of all the important travel documents for you
TripIt is an application that helps you keep track of all your documents while traveling. Suppose you have booked a very large trip with different flights, then you can enter all flights easily in this application so that you do not forget them. These are then displayed chronologically so you can see what the next flight is.
How does it work?
TripIt is available for download from both Apple and Android and is completely free. When it is downloaded and you open the application you need to create an account. To do this quickly, you can also do this via Facebook. When this is done, you can start right away. You can immediately add a new destination by pushing the plus sign. You’ll need to add your destination, start and end date, name, and description. If this is created then you can add plans. For example, if you plan, you can enter your departure hours or your flight number so that you always have it at hand. Please note that if your smartphone is stolen, everyone has this data! The same applies to the ‘profile zone’, where you can add travel documents such as a passport. When you add a trip, it will appear in your list in chronological order. So you can see when exactly your next flight is.

Our opinion
TripIt can be a very useful application. But actually using this one isn’t really in it for us. We are not in favour of simply putting all our data in an application on our mobile phone. That may sound old-fashioned, but if your smartphone is hacked or stolen, then abusing this data is not that difficult. For people who like to have all documents digitally with them, this application is highly recommended. Because it is very easy to use and above all very clear. You can even set alarms on it for had you really been forgetful. With this application you have to choose whether this can be an added value for you and what you want to use there and not.
